Participatory City Making
Participatory City Making is a Research through Design project. The aim of the Participatory City Making project is to develop a framework that can enhance participatory city making of grassroots initiatives and the public administration through small-scale experiments. The city of Rotterdam will form the case study context for these experiments, contributing to the development of a toolset for new city making practices. The development of these city making tools will provide a better understanding of the value of prototyping for systemic change.

Great workshop today at #comtech2019 #digitalcities, where we discussed the #morethanhuman smart city. What would it take to design sustainable smart cities beyond human exceptionalism and benefit and incorporate other species and environmental actors? With @sunday9pm https://t.co/m83yK2cZHq
